Children Sponsorship

No children should ever have to be away from their parent. I personally know what it’s like to be away from her parents for many years. After immigrating to Canada, 5 years had to pass before I saw my mother again. 

It will be a great honour for us to assist you in reuniting you with your child in Canada. You may sponsor your children to come to live with you permanently in Canada if they meet the following requirements:
– Be under the age of 22 and not a spouse or common-law partner; or
– Have depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and unable to provide for themselves due to a medical condition
Your child may have dependent children of their own and still be allowed to immigrate to Canada as long as they are not a spouse or common-law partner.
How long will my application take?
The government of Canada has committed to processing your application to sponsor your dependent child in a 12-month period. If your application is non-routine case, it may take longer. We always aim to submit the most straight-forward application possible to avoid delays.

Are there any government fees?

The processing fee you must pay to the government is CAD $170 per child. This fee may be subject to change at any time by the Government of Canada.
