Children Sponsorship

No children should ever have to be away from their parent. This is our firm belief at Mendez Immigration Services. Our Licensed Consultant personally knows what it’s like to be away from her parents for many years. After immigrating to Canada, 5 years had to pass before she saw her parents again. And she has first-hand knowledge of the negative impact separation can have on a child.
It will be a great honour for us to assist you in reuniting you with your child in Canada. You may sponsor your children to come to live with you permanently in Canada if they meet the following requirements:
– Be under the age of 22 and not a spouse or common-law partner; or
– Have depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and unable to provide for themselves due to a medical condition
Your child may have dependent children of their own and still be allowed to immigrate to Canada as long as they are not a spouse or common-law partner.
How long will my application take?
The government of Canada has committed to processing your application to sponsor your dependent child in a 12-month period. If your application is non-routine case, it may take longer. We always aim to submit the most straight-forward application possible to avoid delays.

  • Overseas Dependent Children Sponsorship
  • In-Canada Dependent Children Sponsorship
  • Dependent Children of Protected Persons and Convention Refugees
  • One-Year Window of Opportunity Dependent Children
  • Dependent Children under the Pilot Project for Excluded Family Members
What are your service fees?

Our service fees for children sponsorship start at CAD $2,090 for dependent children under 18 and CAD $2,490 for dependents over 18.

If you’re sponsoring multiple children, please ask us for a discount. Fees may be subject to 13% HST tax.

Are there any government fees?
The processing fee you must pay to the government is CAD $150 per child. This fee may be subject to change at any time by the Government of Canada.
